Wenn man schon in eine Metropole wie London reist, muss man nicht nur fett shoppen gehen, sondern auch die Vielfalt an Essensmöglichkeiten genießen. Hier sind meine Top 5 Restaurants Empfehlungen von meinem letzten Trip:
Coming from a small town I not only enjoy shopping in big cities like London but also the variety of food. So here are my top 5 recommendations from my last trip:
Süß oder herzhaft? Bei mir gewinnt bei 99% süß. Ein Nutella Crepe ist bei mir ganz weit oben und das Einzige, was ich noch lieber habe sind richtige Belgische Waffeln. Und zwar nicht diese weichen, langweiligen eckigen Waffeln, sondern Lütticher Waffeln. Schön knusprig und karamellig außen und herrlich weich innen. Leider findet man die hier in Deutschland fast nirgendwo frisch, aber in London gibt es die an jeder Straßenecke. Dieses Prachtexemplar ist von Wafflemeister in Notting Hill.
I have a massive sweet tooth, a friend recently pointed out that it would be more accurate to call it a sweet mouth. Of the sweet things I love a Belgian waffle is my favorite. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside they are just delish! You can hardly find them anywhere in Germany but in London they seem to be everywhere! This great one was from Wafflemeister in Notting Hill.
Yo!Sushi - eine Tradition für uns in London. Jedes Mal gehen meine Tante und ich da essen. Das Sushi fährt am Band vorbei, aber man kann es auch einzeln bestellen. Ich finde besonders die Handrolls gut!

Ben's Cookies Stände sieht man inzwischen relativ häufig in London, spontan fallen mir die in Covent Garden und der auf der Oxford Street ein. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Geschmäckern und sie sind super lecker: groß, außen hart und innen weich - lecker!
Ben's Cookies are also a must. Nice and crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside - so yummy! In order to give you guys an adequate review I obviously had to try them from different places: the ones Covent Garden and Oxford Street were equally good though :P
Meine Lieblingspizza gibt es in London und zwar in Highbury Grange. Stingray Café ist die Pizzeria, wo wir immer mit meiner Tante hingehen und alle lieben es! Die Pizzen sind hauchdünn und knusprig und es gibt eine tolle Auswahl. Ich liebe diese hier mit Ziegenkäse und Avocado. Lecker, lecker, lecker.
My favorite pizza is in Highbury Grange, it's from Stingray Café. We pretty much go there everytime we stay with my aunt because we all love it so much. The pizzas are super thin and crispy and their toppings are awesome. I loved this one with goat's cheese and avocado.
Fish und Chips finde ich super. Aber lustigerweise hatte ich es noch nie in England gegessen. Meine Tante und sämtliche Familienmitglieder haben immer von dem kleinen Café in Highbury Grange geschwärmt und diesmal bin ich auch endlich mal hin. Und, oh, wie sie alle Recht hatten. Unglaublich leckerer Fisch mit einer grandiosen Panade.
Fish and Chips. I love it. You would think I would have had it in England. Not until this trip. Oh boy, it was good. Everybody I know in London says that this is the best place though. And I don't feel like I have to try any new places. It can't be better than this. This place is also in Highbury Grange and I can't recommend it enough.
