Während ich hier sitze und tippe, ist draußen strahlender Sonnenschein und blauer Himmel. So muss Herbst sein! Das beste am Herbst ist meiner Meinung trotzdem die Herbstgarderobe - ich habe es so gefeiert endlich die Docs wieder aus dem Schrank zu kramen. Doch trotzdem bin ich noch nicht bereit meine Lieblinge aus dem Sommer unterm Bett zu verstauen: die Jumpsuits.
Es ist durchaus tricky diese im Herbst entsprechend zu stylen - schnell sieht aus als hätte man den Schlafanzug angelassen. Und auch wenn der Pyjama-Trend im Moment ja angeblich so gehypt wird, bin ich erstens kein großer Fan und zweitens habe ich ihn auch noch nie irgendwo entdeckt.
Bei kurzen Playsuits zieht man einfach ne schwarze Strumpfhose drunter, schwarzer Cardigan drüber - eventuell noch ein Poncho: cooler Look. Generell ist mein größter Tipp mit schwarz (und khaki) zu kombinieren - das neutralisiert alle Sommerfarben und macht sie herbst-adäquat. Bei langbeinigen Jumpsuit stellt sich das Problem der weiten Hosenbeinen - schuhtechnisch gehen sowohl Sneaker als auch Boots. Ich habe in dem Fall die Beine etwas hochgekrempelt.
Wenn es die Temperaturen zulassen sehen Jeansjacken super zu Jumpsuits aus, aber ich bin ein Fan von slouchy Cardigans. Hier muss man etwas rumprobieren und einen in der richtigen Länge finden. Kuscheliger Schal und lässiger Mantel drüber - Voila!
While I am sitting here typing, I occasionally look up and outside the window: it is the nicest crisp day outside. Blue skies and sunshine - this is what I love about fall. What I love even more about this season ist the fashion. I was so excited to pull my docs out of my wardrobe. Yet, I wasn't quite ready to put away my summer favorites already. I am talking about the jumpsuits.
It is quite tricky to style them in fall and winter - but it can be done! You just want to avoid looking like your still in you PJs. Even if some say that is a current trend...
Short playsuits can be easily worn with tights and a black cardigan - maybe even a poncho on top. That would look great. Pairing summer clothes with black and khaki will neutralize the bright colors and make them fall-appropriate. Long jumpsuits, on the other hand, are a bit more difficult to achieve an effortless look. The wide legs mainly - shoewise you can get away with sneakers or boot. I just rolled up the ends.
A jean jacket always looks great over jumpsuits but I prefer a slouchy cardigan. You may have to try on a few to find one with a length that suits you. Throw on a cosy scarf and a long coat and you are good to go.
