Für alle die noch nie in Zürich waren, ist der Zeughauskeller ein Muss! Hier gibt es traditionelle Speisen und urschweizerisches Ambiente - am besten natürlich Zürcher Geschnetzeltes ausprobieren. Mehr Schweiz geht nicht.
If you have never been to Zurich before and you want to experience traditional Swiss cuisine, I would highly recommend having lunch or dinner at the Zeughauskeller! They have pretty big portion sizes and they are known for their meat dishes.
Das Hiltl ist stadtbekannt - und schon seit einiger Zeit. In dem vegetarischen Restaurant gibt es ein Buffet mit Selbstbedienung und auch ein Teil mit Menü und Bedienung. Die Auswahl an internationalen Köstlichkeiten und auch veganen Speisen ist nicht zu übertreffen. Der Preis geht nach Gewicht und für Schweizer Verhältnisse OK. (Ich habe für das auf dem Bild 9 Franken bezahlt, was zur Zeit traurigerweise auch 9 Euro sind)
The place to be - a vegetarian Restaurant with a buffet and an area with service. The variety of international foods is insane and all I have tried so far was delicious. The prices are pretty good for Swiss standards - I paid 9 francs for this plate which is about 9 Euro, 7 Pounds and 10 Dollars.
Wir sind schon total oft daran vorbeigelaufen, aber erst letztes Mal haben wir es ausprobiert - und schon gehört es zu meinen Favoriten. Man kann schön draußen sitzen und total leckeren Kuchen essen. Das Besondere an dem Café ist, dass die Kuchenstücke eher kleiner sind, aber man dafür zwei auswählt. Die Auswahl ist super, ich hatte Amaretti und Tiroler und war total zufrieden. Es gibt natürlich auch herzhafte Speisen.
We have passed this place so many times but only this weekend we tried it - and it's already one of my favorite places in Zurich! You can sit outside and enjoy delicious cakes. They have a very nice selection and what's special about this café is that the pieces are quite small, but you get to pick two! I chose an almond one and one with nuts and chocolate - both delicious! They do also offer savory food.
Dass Zürich eine sehr teure Stadt ist, muss ich nicht noch mal sagen. Besonders Essen, vor allem an den ganzen touristischen Plätzen! Günstige Speisen gibt es in den Restaurants der Supermärkte, also zum Beispiel Coop Restaurant oder von der Migros! Es gibt Tagesspeisen und auch Buffets - also schön abwechslungsreich und für Jeden. Nicht unbedingt fancy, aber günstig, lecker und immer praktisch gelegen!
It comes as no surprise that Zurich is a very expensive city. Especially the food! If you don't want to splurge again, a great tip for affordable food are the restaurants of the supermarkets, such as Coop and Migros. They have daily deals and buffets - not the most facncy but cheap, yummy and they are everywhere!
Ein Luxemburgerli ist ein Muss!!! Die Macarons gibt es in jedem Lindt&Sprüngli und sind super lecker. Jede Saison gibt es ein paar neue Sorten neben dem Standardsortiment. Es gibt verschiedene Größe an Boxen, aber sie werden auch einzeln verkauft. Das darf nicht fehlen!
You cannot leave the city without having tried a Luxemburgerli - the macarons are delicious and available in every Lindt&Sprüngli. Each season they bring out a new flavor next to their usual selection. You can choose between different sizes of boxes, but we usually just pick one each.
